A Visual of My Success

Okay, so I'm still working on getting to my 30 lb mark, which I want to accomplish this Friday... I don't know if I'm going to make it by then, but I'm sure going to try my hardest! I'll post more about my "last-chance workout" week in a few days. In the meantime, however, I've finally started to see the difference in how much slimmer I look. It also helps to have pictures to compare, and I saw an older photo from my starting weight and thought... HOLY COW. This comparison is just of my face, as I don't currently have a full body shot of myself right now, and I kind-of want to wait until I hit my 30 lbs. But, just for inspiration, I thought I'd post this anyway. It's amazing to see the change in just my face!

This is my before and after... wow.

I still can't wrap my mind around how far I've come in just three months. I am so much healthier and happier, and I respect and love myself so much more than I ever have. And, I'm not as embarrassed about having my picture taken! That's definitely a big bonus. :D Considering how much progress I have made and am still making, I plan to talk to the bishop of my home ward at the end of next month about contacting the mission office... which means I might be getting my mission call in July! I am so excited!!! I am so proud of myself and all that I have accomplished. I still have a lot to lose, but I am so much closer than I was, and I did it in such a short amount of time.
Keep working hard to achieve your goals and don't give up. Be proud of your accomplishments and of who you are. You can achieve anything you set your mind to, and you are worth it. Don't compare yourself to others or let them get you down. The only person you should compare yourself to is the person you were yesterday. You are a child of God!
